Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel your online purchase and return goods for a full refund, including standard delivery costs.
- Notification: Notify the seller within 14 days of receiving the goods.
- Return: Return the items within 14 days after notification.
- Refund: Refund must be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
European Union (EU):
Similar rights apply under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, offering a 14-day cooling-off period with full refunds including delivery.
2. What Can Be Returned and Refunded?
- Items must be unused, in original condition, with all packaging, tags, and accessories intact.
- Provide a valid proof of purchase.
- Initiate returns within 14 days of receiving the item.
3. Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund
- Custom or personalized items (unless faulty or misdescribed).
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, etc.).
- Sealed products that have been unsealed for hygiene reasons (cosmetics, underwear).
- Digital downloads once download has started with consent.
4. Faulty or Not as Described Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have the right to a full refund, replacement, or repair. The seller covers return shipping costs in these cases.
5. How to Return an Item
- Contact the seller via Manxsy messaging within 14 days with your order details and reason.
- Return the item within 14 days once authorized (buyer pays shipping unless item is faulty).
- Seller will inspect and refund within 14 days of receipt, including original delivery cost.
6. Distance Selling Regulations Requirements
Sellers must provide:
- Clear, accurate product descriptions.
- Information on delivery times and costs.
- Details on cancellation rights and return process.
- Clear contact information (address, email, phone).
7. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, Manxsy customer support will assist. If unresolved, buyers may pursue alternative dispute resolution or legal action.
8. Additional Marketplace Considerations
- Third-party sellers may have their own additional return policies—check individual listings.
- Returning part of a multiple-item order refunds only the returned items and proportional delivery cost.
